SEQUIM – A Port Angeles woman with multiple felony convictions and a warrant for her arrest was once again taken into custody Thursday morning after being found sleeping in the driver’s seat of a stolen pickup truck.
Megan Deman, 20, confessed to stealing the truck from a previous partner on May 2, after a citizen reported a suspiciously parked 2019 Ford F150 concealed behind bushes and trees near the 100 block of Childers Lane in Sequim. In the vehicle with her were various items of drug paraphernalia.
Deman’s felony convictions include Burglary, Drug Possession, Possession of Stolen Property and Theft. The charge of Possession of a Stolen Vehicle has been referred to the prosecuting attorney for a formal charging decision.
