WASHINGTON DC – The National Park Service announced on Tuesday the distribution of $11.7 million in historic preservation grants to 183 tribal historic preservation offices. Among those recipients is the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe here in Clallam County, who got over $55,000.
We called the Tribe’s Historic Preservation Officer Dave Brownell and asked how he thought money might be used.
