PORT ANGELES – As we reported earlier this week, there’s a plan in Port Angeles to make significant improvements on East Lauridsen Boulevard between Lincoln Street and just west of the Lauridsen Bridge. City staffers are in the final stages of design but, before going forward, they’re asking for input from residents.

Our story prompted a lot of comments and questions from our readers, so we asked Civil Engineer Jonathan Boehme to give us a better idea of the scope of the project.

So that’s where you come in. They have some safety and traffic flow options to present to the public on Wednesday, May 1st from 4:00pm-6:00pm at the Port Angeles Library in the Carver Room.

For more information, visit the project web page located here.
