SEQUIM — The City of Sequim has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a Festival Producer to manage the new Sequim Sunshine Festival scheduled to take place March 6 & 7 next year.
The festival is intended to be an annual event that will bring visitors to Sequim during one of the slowest times of the year. Organizers believe the event features one of Sequim’s best-known assets: Sunshine.
We asked Communications and Marketing Director Barbara Hanna what a Sunshine Festival might look like.

The Producer contract will begin in June this year and complete at the end of March 2020. Compensation for the 10-month contract is not to exceed $18,000.
