Port Angeles – A three-car collision near Walmart in Port Angeles at about 10:45 Tuesday morning led to 84-year-old Dennis Brown of Port Angeles having to be extricated from his car with hydraulic tools and transported to OMC with non-life-threatening injuries.

Two vehicles were blocking Highway 101 at Kolonels Way and a third vehicle was thrown onto the sidewalk. The intersection was restricted to one lane in both directions while the vehicles were cleared from the roadway.

The incident is under investigation by the Washington State Patrol.
