PORT ANGELES – After 18 years in business on the Port Angeles waterfront, the Dairy Queen restaurant will be closing its doors at 9:00pm on Tuesday March 26.
It’s not by choice, says owner/manager Kelly Sandhu. Her landlord sold the building to a partnership in Seattle, and suddenly the rental price was out of reach, despite her attempts to negotiate.
Sandhu still has the Dairy Queen franchise though, and she says the company takes good care of their own.
And so, while this is short notice, to hear Kelly Sandhu tell it, you haven’t had your last Blizzard in Port Angeles.
