PORT ANGELS – The City of Port Angeles has housing issues that a lot of people are working to solve. There just are too few housing options for current and prospective residents, at all economic levels.

The City’s Community & Economic Development Department (CED) is developing a Housing Needs Assessment in their effort to create policies, programs and strategies for tackling some those challenges.

To that end, the CED has posted a survey on the City website and is asking your opinions about current housing conditions, preferences, and priorities. Here’s CED Director Allyson Brekke:

Brekke says the City hopes to have the housing study and plan completed by the beginning of February 2019.

As she mentioned, completing the survey lets you enter a drawing for a $250 gift certificate, and you can also print a coupon for free admission to William Shore Pool.
