PORT ANGELES – The city of Port Angeles has hired a new public works and utilities director.
James Burke will return to the city less than six months after he resigned as the acting public works director in June to take another job in McMinnville, Oregon.

The city has been without a permanent public works and utilities director since this spring when Craig Fulton resigned. The city hired a contractual interim director to get through the summer, as it worked through some larger capital projects.
