PORT ANGELES – Air quality is listed as unhealthy for most of Clallam County.

That’s due to smoke pouring into the area from wildfires in Canada and eastern Washington.

Air quality monitors early this morning read unhealthy levels for particulates and smoke.

Forecasters say that should dissipate from unhealthy to moderate through the day, but those with underlying health problems should be careful and monitor air conditions closely
