PORT ANGELES – The new owner of the Red Lion Hotel in Port Angeles was in town this week to get a look around, and he goes by the name of Buggsi. Buggsi Patel met with hotel manager Robert Utz and his staff, and brought good news. Not only will Utz and most of the staff be keeping their jobs, but some exciting changes and upgrades are coming.

Patel is the CEO of BHG, a company that owns dozens of hotels, and will operate the Red Lion as a franchise, with a separate company, CoHo Services, running the day-to-day operations.
