PORT ANGELES – Police are investigating an incident of a mutilated cat found on Port Angeles’ west side.

The cat’s owner noticed someone posted on social media they had found the cat, apparently cut in half,  Sunday at Shane Park.

The owner contacted that person.  After getting a description of the cat determined it was the owner’s beloved pet “Tarot”.  The owner went to the police, where Port Angeles deputy police chief Jason Viada confirmed the worst.
