BLYN – A family traveling in the area from France escaped injury when the car they were driving ran off the road and flipped near Blyn.
It happened about 3:20 yesterday afternoon.
The State Patrol says the RAV 4 SUV the family was in drifted onto the shoulder and hit the ditch. The vehicle hit a built up mud berm and flipped end over end coming to rest on its top.
The family were helped by passing motorists to get out of the SUV before it erupted in flames.
The crash shut down the highway for about and hour and half.
