PORT ANGELES — A 19-year-old woman died in a motorcycle accident east of Port Angeles.
Brooke Bedinger of Sequim died at the scene of the accident on Highway 101 on the Morse Creek curves.
The State Patrol says, Bedinger lost control of the Harley Davidson motorcycle she was riding and crossed the center line.
Bedinger laid the motorcycle down and was then run over by an oncoming pickup truck.
The accident happened about 5:00 pm yesterday. The response and investigation caused traffic to back up for miles for a number of hours.
