PORT ANGELES – Port Angeles School District officially has a new superintendent.

Marty Brewer was sworn in yesterday to take over the top leadership post for the district.

Brewer was the unanimous choice of the school board earlier this year to become the next superintendent.

He had served as the superintendent of the Pioneer School District near Shelton.

Brewer replaces Marc Jackson, who retires this month.
