PORT ANGELES – Port Angeles Police arrested 21 year-old Zachary Fletcher early Friday morning after he rolled his truck on Marine Drive seriously injuring two.

Besides being under the influence, Fletcher was charged with two counts of vehicular assault because his two passengers suffered serious injuries.

19 year-old Naomi Kuykendall and 18 year-old Jacob Torey, both of Port Angeles, were airlifted to Harborview Medical Center.

Fletcher himself sustained only minor injuries, despite witnesses saying he was traveling at a high rate of speed. Witnesses were providing first aid when police and firefighters arrived at the scene at about 2:20 AM.
