PORT ANGELES – Starting Monday, July 1, owners and operators of short-term lodging operations in Port Angeles must obtain a business license and inspection from the City. All applications must be submitted by August 1. Applications received after August 1 will be placed on a waitlist.

Beginning Monday, applicants will be able to utilize the Online Licensing Portal at cityofpa.us to apply for a short-term lodging business license, update account information, pay applicable fees, and renew licenses.

If you own an inactive short-term lodging unit, would like to begin operating a new one, or if you are an existing operator who did not receive a registration letter in the mail, contact the Community & Economic Development Department to receive your account information.

Per the ordinance approved by City Council, one unit will be permitted per Business License; one Business License will be issued per owners; and one Business License will be issued per parcel.
