SEQUIM — Starting Monday June 24, crews in Sequim will kick off some much-anticipated roadwork on North Sequim Avenue.

They’ll be working from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., Monday through Friday, for up to four weeks, depending on the weather. The stretch they’ll be fixing up, runs from Washington Street to about 250 feet south of West Deytona Street. City officials say expect some delays, closures, noise, and detours during those hours, but residents will still be able to get through.

South Seventh Avenue is getting some upgrades too. For another month the road will be closed from McCurdy Road to Silberhorn Road, except for residents.

The improvements are for the Rolling Hills development, adding streets, sidewalks and utilities.
