PORT ANGELES – Tomorrow from 4:00 to 7:00, the Vern Burton Community Center will host an exciting event aimed at connecting eager volunteers with local non-profits, festival organizers, event planners, and social service groups.

Similar to a traditional job fair, this event offers attendees the opportunity to explore various booths, each representing a different organization seeking volunteers.

The Port Angeles Chamber of Commerce organizes the event.

“It’s a great community event. Even if you’re just someone who’s thinking ‘I’d like to do something, but I don’t know what is available’, come to the volunteer fair. You can come and there’ll be a ton of organizations that need you but there’s no pressure. You can just explore the possibility. You don’t have to commit to,” said Chamber Executive Director Marc Abshire.

Whether you’re interested in community service hours, internships, developing job skills, or simply looking for perks like free festival tickets and event t-shirts, there’s something for everyone.

Again, it’s Wednesday evening from 4-7 pm at the Vern Burton Center.
